Zeppelins in 3D
Images here are of rigid airships constructed by the Zeppelin
Company. Zeppelin wrecks from the First World War are not included (they're on the wrecks page).
'Zeppelins' are those rigid airships constructed in Germany by the
Zeppelin Company between 1900 and 1937. The most successful was LZ 127, Graf Zeppelin, and
the most notorious remains the largest aircraft ever to fly, LZ 129 Hindenburg.
See also: links to additional pages of LZ127 Graf
Zeppelin, and LZ129 Hindenburg stereoviews.

Keystone 18000 'Zeppelin flying over German Town, Lower Valley of the Rhine'.
The
second most common airship stereoview. Often poorly reproduced images, with the left image

A less common variation refers to the airship as a 'Bird of Prey' and
does not have descriptive text on the back. The airship is LZ3, renamed Z1 after being
commissioned
as the first military Zeppelin (1908). First flight in 1906,
modified as above with extended keel and quadruplane elevators 1907.
It was used for training until 1913.
Ebay Values 2000-2003, $3 to $15. Most above $9 unsold.
